She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellein Flanders (Driste) and Vernon Flanders; and her husband Russell. She is survived by: her children, Debi Johnson (Oluf) of Paynesville, Charles Schmidt of Paynesville and Richard Schmidt (Kathy) of New London; her sister Betty Thomsen of Paynesville; and her sister-in-law Ramona Frank of Paynesville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Nordland Lutheran Church.
