It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathee Martinson of Paynesville, Minnesota, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Kathee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kathee farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Carmen Elizabeth Brown (Sheldon); her husband Eugene Lester Martinson; and her son-in-law John Buermann. She is survived by: her children, Edith Buermann of Paynesville, Laura Schmidt (Jaime) of Big Lake and Darrin Martinson (Cody Hoff) of Sauk Rapids; and her siblings, Steve Brown (Rosalyn) of Paynesville and Jill Brown of Anoka. She is also survived by three brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Koronis Place Assisted Living Chapel (405 Hwy 55, Paynesville, MN 56362).
