He is survived by: his wife Viola Davis; his children, Gordon Bengtson (Robyn), Guy Bengtson (Mary), Brian Bengtson (Sharla), Christopher Bengtson, Ranae Bengtson and Katie Fleischhacker (Kurt); and his siblings, Richard Bengtson (Sharon), Doris Nepsund (Wyman), Ray Bengtson, Dorothy Bengtson and Tony Bengtson (Deb). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
