It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ishaug (Pelican Rapids, Minnesota), who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ishaug and Melia Ishaug (Johnson); and his sister Marion Bakken. He is survived by: his wife Ila Mae Hough of Savior's Lutheran Church; his children, Kimberley, Keith (Sarah), Kurt (Kimberli) and Kevin (Tania); and his grandchildren, Jade, Jenna, Madison, Sydney, Peyton, Aidan, Ethan and Logan.

Donny's calm, thoughtful, inquisitive demeanor laced with a sharp wit is an inspiration that will carry on forever in my heart and mind. The respect and honor given him by his children and grandchildren was and is readily apparent to anyone who witnessed their interactions and was and is equally deserved. I love the Ishaug family.
