He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Emanuel and Violet Emanuel (Lileks); and his brother Kurt Emanuel (Marilyn Emanuel). He is survived by: his children, Crystal Krabbenhoft (Dave) and Collin Gnoinsky (Leanne); his grandchildren, Anna Ames, Hailey Gnoinsky and Haiden Gnoinsky; his brother Dave Emanuel (Margaret); his nieces, Kassie Emanuel, Keelee Emanuel, Hannah Emanuel and Julianna Kloehn (Austyn); and his great-nephews, Warren and Weston Kloehn. He is also survived by extended family; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Larson Funeral and Cremation Service (12 5th Ave NE, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (24876 Franklin Lake Rd, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572).
