He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Johnson; his children, Steven Volavka (Lynda), Wendy Jorgenson (Darren) and David Jurva (Kathi); and his great grandchild Sister Shirley Goerke (Gerhard). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church (15275 Co Hwy 45, Menahga, MN 56464). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
