He is survived by: his wife Susan (Thompson); his children, Andrew Johnson (Alison) of Maple Grove, MN and Anna Wallenkamp (Andrew) of Denver, CO; his grandsons, Blake Nelson, Theodore and Abram Wallenkamp; his sisters, Kathryn Benson and Sita Johnson of Richfield, MN; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Nelson (James). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to Concordia College and Trinity Lutheran Church.
