He is survived by: his wife Joyce Myhre; his son Chad Laughlin (Julie) of Pennock; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Bowman (Austen), Megan Laughlin (Wyatt Schmidt), David Ellingson (Lacey) and Cody Thompson; his great grandchildren, Averie, Archie, Madisen and Chase Ellingson; and his siblings, Sharon Harms (Keith) of Clara City, Connie Lee (Joel) of DeGraff, Kenny Laughlin (Margaret) of Murdock and Tony Laughlin (Kathi) of Kerkhoven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
