She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Kuiper and Julia Kuiper; her siblings, Margaret Kinney, Jerry, Richard and Michael Kuiper; her former husband Richard Murray; and her nephew Corwin Ogaard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eleanor Ogaard, Aggie Sexton, Cheryl Jackman (Jim), Mary Kreich, Les Kuiper and Larry Kuiper; her daughters, Deb Welu (Greg), Krista Eull (Grant) and Julia Murray; and her grandchildren, Kevin Welu (Melissa), Nick Welu, Phil Welu (Brittney), Rory Welu (Ashley), Kali Gold (Derek), Aubrey Eull, Kiara Ladd and Ethan Eull. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alice Catholic Church (30872 Old Hwy 371, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Elaine's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Sharing & Caring Hands.
