He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Weagel and Frances Weagel; his siblings, Susan and Stanley; and his niece Jennifer Roch (Burbank).

He is survived by: his partner Kim Olesen of Pequot Lakes; his daughters, Mara Powers (Tony) of Brainerd and Alicia Weagel (Mark Marturano) of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Hannah, Griffin Dahlberg and Rowan Marturano; and his sisters, Sandra Burbank (John) of Mosier, OR and Shari Hagen (Daniel) of Willmar, MN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Journey Church (5459 Co Hwy 18, Nisswa, MN 56468).
