He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Swanson and Grace Swanson (Williams); his former wife Joan Swanson; his wife Gladys Swanson; his daughter Susan Swanson; and his grandson Matthew Swanson.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Swanson (Debbe), Jeff Swanson (Dona), Ann Swanson and Beth Weaver (Tim); his siblings, Mary Longtine (Aaron) and Tom Swanson (Bonnie); and his stepson Eric Lindgren (Patti). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
