He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysious "Wishy" Gerber and Dorothy "Dotty" Gerber (Hoffmann); and his grandparents, John and Birdie Hoffmann (Lein). He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Graves and Rosanne Estrem; his siblings' children, Dan Hughes (Jodi), Tim Graves (Cathy) and Kathy Clemmer; his great-nieces, Holly and Cameo; and his great-nephew Forest.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (36963 MN-108, Dent, MN 56528). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (40765 Co Hwy 49, Perham, MN 56573).
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are preferred to Mary Jo Copeland's Sharing and Caring Hands or the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls.
