He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Holzer and Mary Holzer (Kasowski); his siblings, Jim Holzer, Mary Hoffman, Gene Holzer and Ben Holzer; his parents-in-law, Howard and Virgina Schumacher; and his brother-in-law Tony VanWatermulen.

He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Dawn Holzer (Andy Hanson), Tara Feld (Allen) and Ryan Holzer; his grandchildren, Kody and Kenley Feld; his siblings, Joe Holzer (Sherryl), Renee VanWatermulen, Albert Holzer (Mary), Alice Dittmann (Gerry) and Frank Holzer (Bev); and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Holzer and Char Holzer.
