He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred August Bethke and Elizabeth Bethke (Maus). He is survived by: his wife Lugardia Bethke; his children, Pamela Bethke, Steve Bethke, Monica Abrams, Janice Bethke and Patricia Christoph; and his sister Alice Bethke Ellis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
