He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Peterson; his brother Ross Rustad (Candi) of Perham; his nephew Ryan Rustad (Mya) of Perham; his great-niece Lauryn Gunning (Billy) of Eau Claire, WI; and his great-nephews, Nathan and Blaize Rustad of Perham.
