Sharon Podratz of Perham, Minnesota passed away on August 22, 2026. Sharon, born on December 17, 1944, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. She was predeceased by: her brother Rick Lucken. She is survived by: her friend Mary Kay; her children, Steph Nelson (Jeff), Steve Podratz (Jamie) and Kim Woods (Scott); and her grandchildren, Magen Woods, McKayla Marsden (Matt), Ashley Nelson, Jack Nelson, Kade Woods, Cole Woods and Ellie Podratz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ Wadena (419 2nd St NE, Wadena, MN 56482). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Summit Cemetery - Morris.
