He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Askelson and Shirley Askelson (Glover); his niece Sheila Kasowski Lindseth; and his sister-in-law Rita Doll Askelson. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Fiedler; his siblings, Harold Askelson (Geri) of Detroit Lakes, Roger Askelson of Detroit Lakes and Alice McDonald; Brandon Fiedler of Hoffman, MN, Tiffany Burge Fiedler of Dent, MN, April Klein Fiedler and Ashley Fiedler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
