He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gangl and Evelyn Gangl (Gruber); his brother Gordy Gangl; his daughter-in-law Colette Gangl; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Helen Otremba.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gangl of Pierz; his sons, Paul Gangl (Denise) of Lakeville, MN, Brian Gangl (Lori) of Pierz, MN, Mark Gangl of Pierz, MN and Wayne Gangl (Tammie Graupmann) of South Haven, MN; his sister Judy Ringeisen (Steve) of Sauk Rapids, MN; his grandchildren, Christopher, Candice, Brandon, Bradley, Nicholas, Cole, Evan, Nathan, Matthew and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Brinley, James, Adeline, Willa, Emery, Sophia, Blaklynn and Brooks.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (68 Main St S, Pierz, MN 56364).
