He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Peine and Louise Peine (Dahmen); his son Daniel Peine; his brothers, Steven Peine, Eddie Peine, Irvin Peine and Roman Peine; his foster parents, Marie Barthel and Henry Barthel; and his foster siblings, Lois Pelzer and Jimmy Barthel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Peine of Pierz, MN; his sons, Carl Peine of Little Falls, MN and Donald Peine (Judy) of Hillman, MN; his siblings, Tony Peine of Pittsburgh, TX, Chucky Peine (Betty), Francis Peine and Mary Ann; his grandchildren, Daniel Peine (Mindy), Alex Peine (Stephanie), Jennifer Peine, Megan Peine and McKenzey Watenphul (Alexander); and his great grandchildren, Benson and Lenna.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the LeMieur Funeral Home of Little Falls (214 2nd St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (68 Main St S, Pierz, MN 56364).
