We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2025, at the age of 43, Bridget Skibsted of Pine Island, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joe O'Malley; her grandparents, Joe, Lucille O'Malley, Stanley and Helen Peters; and her godfather John O'Leary.
She is survived by: her mother Judy O'Malley (Peters) of Storm Lake, IA; her husband Ben Skibsted of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughters, Maddy and Lucy of Pine Island, MN; her siblings, MaryAnn O'Malley (Chad) of Storm Lake, IA, Jean Knapp (Jamie) of Storm Lake, IA, Megan Richardson (Matt) of Storm Lake, IA, Ann Bouaphakeo (Danay) of Bennington, NE and Tim O'Malley (Deb) of Barnhart, MO.; her in-laws, Dave and Connie Skibsted of Storm Lake, Iowa; her siblings-in-law, Amy and Nick Skibsted (Kim) of Brandon, SD; her nieces and nephews, Emily Herting (Dakota), Grace, Ellie DePuma, Michael, Austin, Natalie Knapp, Katherine, Abigail, Samantha O'Malley, Luke, Cole, Emma Richardson, Ben, Ty, Malley, Bailey Bouaphakeo, Trey, Rylie and Myles Skibsted; and her great-nephew Maverick.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Bridget's honor to support Maddy and Lucy's education.
