Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy Lorain Miller of Pine Island, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 102, on December 6, 2025. As we bid Dorothy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dorothy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Kunz and Isabel Kunz (Mattenklodt); her husband Max Miller; and her brother Maurice. She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Diana) of Pine Island and Norman Miller (Becky) of Pine Island. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and her twenty-six great grandchildren plus two great-great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church - Oronoco (45 1st Ave NE, Oronoco, MN 55960). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pine Island Food Bank, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
