He was predeceased by : his daughter Arlene Timm; and his grandchildren, Dianne Timm and Chris Childrey. He is survived by : his wife Delores Dunagan; his children, Steve (Roger Guenther), Debbie, Dan (Nancy), Kevin (Lorraine), Kathy (Scott Tweed) and James; his son-in-law Joe Timm; his granddaughters, Katie Childrey, Megan Zetzman (Jon), Krista Cervantes (Phillip), Diane, Noelle and Jillian; his great grandchildren, Mariah Childrey, Sarah, Matthew Zetzman, Elizabeth, Olive and Eli Cervantes; his great great grandchild Vinny; and his siblings, Paul and Elvira Wilson.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Rochester Cremation Services (1605 Civic Center Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St Michaels Catholic Church (451 5th St SW, Pine Island, MN 55963).
