He is survived by: his wife Trudi Kennedy; his children, Kevin Kennedy (Bobbi Jo), Craig Kennedy and Courtney McGowan (Steve); his grandchildren, Kylie Brunkhorst (Michael), Bridget Marquardt (Cody), Bailey Kennedy, Alexis Schuyler (Adam), Walker Kennedy (Kamryn), Connor, Cooper and Owen McGowan; his great grandchildren, Thomas Kennedy and Oden Brunkhorst; his friend Audrey Hadler; and his siblings, Richard Kennedy, Tom Kennedy and Helen Toutges (Rick). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel (209 1st Ave NW, Pine Island, MN 55963). A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Stary-Yerka VFW Post 5727 (25 E 1st St, Zumbrota, MN 55992).
