As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kenneth may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melroy Olson and Shirley Olson (Langsdorf); his sister Mary; and his nephew Bryce. He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Steinke); his children, Matt and Stephanie VanDerBeek; and his sister Wanda Samuelson (Dave). He is also survived by 2 step children, five grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandson.
Ken was a member of United Redeemer Lutheran Church and actively volunteered in several organizations including Back Country Horsemen of MN & Arkansas, Island Riders Saddle Club and Pine Island Area Community Foundation. Memorials are suggested to any of these organizations.
