He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Matt Schmidt (Kizzy), Chris Schmidt (Donna) and Danny Schmidt (Leah); his grandchildren, Ryan, Sara, Makai, Cole and Kameron; his brother Mike Schmidt (Diane); and his sisters-in-law, Erin Keeley and Patty Lynam (Bob). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
