He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Veen and Norma Veen (Wittrock); his daughter Kami; his grandson Parker Veen; his brother Loren; his sister-in-law Ardy Veen; his sister Betty; his brother-in-law Sabo Steenstra; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Mary Matson; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Matson, Robert Matson and Mary Ann Matson.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Matson; his children, Kevin Veen (Andrea) of Eagan and Kelly Jorgensen (Ryck) of Tyler, Minnesota; his grandsons, Adam Jorgensen of Tyler, Brandon and Carter Veen of Eagan; and his sister-in-law Eileen Matson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
