He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph H. Rieck and Meta Rieck (Bartels); his son Dennis Donald Rieck; his siblings, Margaret Borman (Archie), Mildred Mueller (Kurt), Richard Rieck and Raymond Rieck (Elaine); and his son-in-law Lonny Boese.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hass; his children, Renee Augustad (Todd) and Ryan Rieck (Mary); his granddaughters, Meagan Rieck Ray and Samantha Rieck; and his great grandchildren, Rose Rieck, Christopher and Skyler Rieck. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
