He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Johnny" Martens, and JoAnn Martens, Jr. (Hennager); his mother-in-law Cynthia Brady; and his brothers-in-law, Dwayne Christoffels and Tim Brady.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Martens of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, John Martens (Nicole) of Pipestone and Melissa Burnett of Pipestone; his grandchildren, Hunter Burnett (Madi), Angel Martens (Jake), Taya Burnett, Noelle Martens (AJ) of Jacey Burnett, JJ, Hudson Burnett, Jocelyn Burnett, Cody Martens and Titan Burnett; and his siblings, Pat Christoffels of Sioux Falls, Douglas Martens (Claire) of Pipestone and Virginia Olberding (Brett) of Pipestone.
