He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Priester and Frieda Priester (Lettow); his wife Betty VandenBosch; his daughter Terry; his son-in-law Doug Floody; his son Jerry; and his sisters, Caroline Buysse, Margaret Shields, Dorothy Buysse, Marian Lester and Sharyn Mallo.
He is survived by: his son Thomas Priester (Tricia) of Pipestone; his daughter-in-law Sara Priester of Pipestone; his grandchildren, Angela Floody, Jordan Priester (Mandy), Joshua Caldwell (Ashley), Chloe Lear, Amy Lombardi and Jacob Bauman; and his siblings, Marjorie Priester of Austin and Edward Priester (Lynette) of Burnsville, Minnesota.. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
