With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Thomas Klann (Plainview, Minnesota), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Klann and Mary Klann (Nield); his sister Rebecca Klann Runkel; his in-laws, Reuben and Doris Gary; and his siblings-in-law, Ray and Jean Schwirtz.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie M. Klann Gary of Hammond; his children, Sara Heise (Jon) of Rochester and Thomas Klann of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Solomon, Raiven, Santanna and Avalon Heise; his brothers, David Klann (Connie) of Douglas and Richard Klann of Rochester; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Runkel, Elmer Gary, Virginia Stevens and Donna Siefert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schleicher Funeral Homes & Cremation Services- Plainview (10 E Broadway, Plainview, MN 55964). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Centergrove Cemetery.
