He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Welke and Nilva Welke (Wehrs). He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Welke of Plainview; his children, Vicki Schmidt of Plainview, Debbie Welke of Minneapolis, Erika Welke of Minneapolis and Adam Welke (Katie) of West Concord; his grandchildren, Joshua Schmidt (Lauren), Stephanie Lewerke (James), Trevor Bruhnkeschmidt (Ari), Brandon Welke, Clara, Joseph, Nilva, Erna Welke, Jordan and Deven Wright; his great grandchildren, Emmaline and Daphne Schmidt; and his siblings, Kathy Ronning (Dale) of Waverly, MN, William "Bill" Welke (Casey) of Plainview and Robert "Bob" Welke of Millville. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ (205 1st St NE, Plainview, MN 55964). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
