He was predeceased by: his mother Hannah Searles, Sr. (Feil); his wife Donna Krusmark; his siblings, Harold Searles, Jr. and Delores Holland; his stepson Richard McGrath; and his son-in-law Joe Irwin.
He is survived by: his father Harold Searles,; his daughter Debra Ohm (Dan) of Stewartville, MN; his stepchildren, Cathy Irwin of Mooresville, NC and Jack Harlan (Kris) of Buffalo, MN; his daughter-in-law Ok-Hee McGrath of West Lafayette, Indiana; and his close friend Joanne Nord of Rochester, MN. He is also survived by his family as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Joachim Catholic Church (900 W Broadway, Plainview, MN 55964).
