He is survived by: his wife Helga Kuehl; his children, Jeff Simon and Jenny Simon; his granddaughter Miranda Pearson (Ben); and his siblings, Sharon Heaser (Lance), Mary Simon, Steve Simon (Sandy), Julie Klempf (Mitch), Peter Simon (Theresa), Mike Simon (Brenda), Duane Simon and Ken Simon (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
