The passing of Katherine Louise Weis of Plainview, Minnesota, born in Chatfield, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert F. Weis Jr.; her parents, Lewis Hisey and Ruth Hisey (Schrader); and her nephew Kevin Hisey. She is survived by: her children, Kurt Weis of Plainview, MN and Karen Harris (Adolphus Harris, Jr.) of Round Lake, IL.; her grandchildren, Cody, Colin Weis and Aimee Harris; her great grandchildren, Kiya and Emmit; and her brother Glenn Hisey (Marlene) of Chatfield, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Christ (205 1st St NE, Plainview, MN 55964). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to charity or cause, if desired.
