As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Klagge and Mary Lou Klagge (Petersen); and his brother Mitchel. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Brian Lidtke (Ivy Rule) of Weaver, Amy Slechta (Mark) of St Francis and Alex Klagge (Carly) of Winona; and his grandchildren, Archie Slechta and Sienna Klagge.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schad & Zabel Funeral Home (57 3rd St SW, Plainview, MN 55964).
