He was predeceased by: his father Robert Pries; and his sister Bonnie Lee McCreary. He is survived by: his mother Donna Pries (Schoonover); his wife Mary Melvin; his children, Jeremy Pries (Krystal), Keean Pries (Amber Valderrama), Jacob Pries (Sydney) and Kadin Pries; his grandchildren, Ever Lynne Valderrama and Katum Pries; and his siblings, Debbie Charette (Joe), Cathy Wiebusch (Jerry), Tim Pries (Diana), Kari Pries, Pam Carleton, Jimmie Pries and Jennie Pries. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
