He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mau and Betty Mau (Stainbrook); and his sisters, Carol Scantlen and Judy Crawford (Chuck). He is survived by: his wife Toni Lynn Mau of Plato, MN; his children, Victoria Hitchcock (Richard) of St. Petersburg, FL, Nicole Riedel of Glencoe, MN and Richard Mau (Stephanie Bestler) of New Prague, MN; his stepchildren, Noelle Williams of Belle Plaine, MN, Melissa Pasquarette and Joseph Marschall of New Prague, MN; and his siblings, Janice Gustafson (Patrick) of Elgin, MN, Karen McClure, Alvin Mau (Debbie) and David Mau (Cathy). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren.
