He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence John Konickson and Alyce Lempi Esther Konickson (Korvela); his siblings, Doris Skredergard and Lyle Konickson; his parents-in-law, Don and Lee Brown; his siblings-in-law, Roger Neisen, Linda, Keith Erickson, Mike Brown and Steve Cote; and his nieces, Brenda, Kristy, Karen Camille and Baby Konickson.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Konickson (Brown) of Saviour's Lutheran Church; his children, Justin Konickson (Alejandra), Cheryl Konickson (Brett Christenson), Kelsey Amann (Brian), Alexis Castellano (Rob) and Kayla Carlson (Ike); his grandchildren, Max, Ava, Eloise, Rozlynn, Hazel, Cora, Magnus and Norah; his siblings, Vernon Konickson (Carole), Roger "Doc" Konickson (Arlys) and Carol Egstad (Terry); his sister-in-law Melodee Brown; and his pet Spunky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Thief River (105 Governor St, Oklee, MN 56742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (190 Pleth Ave, Plummer, MN 56748).
