With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Jasperson of Plummer, Minnesota, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Dahle; his stepson-in-law Bob Hansen; his stepgreat-grandson Devin Dahle; his parents, William Jasperson and Annie Jasperson; and his siblings, Vivian, Florence (Flossy), Violet (Shirley), LaVonne, Louie, Chet and Slim.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sherryl Hansen, Mike and Julie Dahle; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brad Naplin, Kristina Dahle, Johnathan Dahle, Logan Dahle, Dylan Dahle, Cambrie Russell and Hunter Naplin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
