He is survived by: his wife Doris Metzer; his children, Ron Meintsma (Linda Ashley) and April Vassar (Craig); his stepchildren, Robert Metzer (Georgiann), Julie Fondrick (Kurt), Mitzi Gregg (Andy) and Mariann Metzer; his sister Connie Jatko (Mike); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Meintsma (Vernon) and Beverly Meintsma (Jack). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
