He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Mary Thompson (Fjelstad); his brothers, Tom and Jim; and his in-laws, Marv and Joy Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Amy Konkel (Dan), Cory Thompson, Jill Deitering (Shawn) and Aaron Thompson (Danielle); his grandchildren, Ryoko, Neo, Nova, Vance, Serena and Myra; his great grandchild Zayne; his brothers, Patrick Thompson (Janet), William Thompson and Peter Thompson (Jennifer); and his sister-in-law Debbie Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
