She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Stigen and Mabel Stigen (Wegner); her husband LaVern; and her sisters, Barbara Houdek and Aletta Severson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rita Shea of Vadnaes Heights, MN, Vickie Bjerke (Steve) of St. Charles, MN and Nolan Stigen (Connie) of DeSoto, WI; her brother-in-law David Houdek of Cresco, IA; and her close friend Dick Benke of Preston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (509 Kansas St NW, Preston, MN 55965). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
