He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bahl and Maelo Bahl (Heinz). He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Kay Swadley; his wife Carolyn "Bunny" Bahl; his children, Steve Bahl (Allyson), Sue Hovey (Wayne), Sally Bahl and Andrew Bahl (Karen Haugerud); his grandchildren, Brianna Bahl (Jim House), Ross Bahl (Carrie), Riley Bahl (Elizabeth Abrahamson), Samuel Bahl (Madeline Snyder), Jason Peterson (Tara), Sierra Tollefson (Kyle), Spencer Hovey (Kinzee), Nicole Hovey (Josh Marzolf), Kallen Bahl (Marin Sowka) and Drew Bahl (Gretchen); and his sister Mary Lou Brock. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Preston Area Foundation or St. Columban's Catholic Church in Preston, MN.
