She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Selness and Olga Selness (Thompson); her husband Sander Jerome Swenson; and her brother Gaylen. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Abrahamson (John) of Lanesboro, Nancy Dalldorf (Robert C.) of Wilton, CT and Mary Lynn Rettig (David) of Middle, IA; her grandchildren, Sarah Solum (Robert Ghoorah), Rebekah Solum (Fouad Michel), Marguerite Abrahamson (Daniel Schwiebert), Elizbeth Abrahamson (Riley Bahl), Robert S. Dalldorf and Katherine Dalldorf; her great grandchildren, Sander Michel, Grace Ghoorah, Dylan Ghoorah and Ellis Abrahamson-Bahl; and her sister-in-law Geri Worden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church (169 Dorchester Dr, Dorchester, IA 52140). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
