He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard "Dick" Rotz and Wilma Rotz (Bost). He is survived by : his wife Mindy; his son Erik Rotz of Princeton; his siblings, Rick Rotz (Deb) of Alabama, Cindy Yuker (Bret) of Princeton, Bonnie Schwartz of Little Falls and JoEllen Linder (Jim) of Princeton; his parents-in-law, Pam Belanger (Denny) and Larry Hatch (Denise Larson); his brother-in-law Brad Hatch (Megan) of Zimmerman; his friend Gary Nelson; and his close friends, Hoosier and Dually. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Princeton (205 S Rum River Dr, Princeton, MN 55371). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
