She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jr. Howe and Irene Howe (Kuhn); her son-in-law Jim Sweeney; and her sisters, Katherine and Patricia.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Emil Hans Stay; her daughters, Sharon Narog (Dennis) of Maple Grove, Linda Bertram (Chris) of Hudson, WI, Mary Joan Sweeney of East Bethel, Melissa Almen of St. Cloud and Angela Stay of Champlin; and her siblings, Robert Howe, LaVerne Howe and John Stay (Jolene). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
