She is survived by: her husband Alan Kretzmann; her daughter Jennifer Langton (Mark) of Elbow Lake, MN; her brother Melvin Evjen (Bonni) of Wells, MN; her siblings-in-law, Marcia Finger (Susan Agee) of Madison, WI, Cynthia Schuett of Clarksville, TN, Sharon Peterson (John Oates) of Menasha, WI and David Kretzmann (Michelle) of Omro, WI; and her nieces and nephews, Cam Evjen, Ammie Musser (Chris), Tori Evjen (Eddie Thiele), Dani Klose (Shawn), Jared Finger (Emily), Dan Martin (Toni), Rev. Jim Martin (Amanda), Gabriela Peterson (Jake Knottnerus), Brian Peterson, Ernie Kretzmann (Erica) and Theo Kretzmann.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, LaVonne began to semi-retire, though she remained active in the things she enjoyed.
