He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mathison and Betty Mathison (Ward); and his wife Barb Mathison (Sproessig). He is survived by: his daughter Amy Bolstad (Mathison); his grandchildren, Tyler Bolstad and Stephanie Bolstad; his son David Mathison; his granddaughter Ruby Jean Lombard; and his siblings, Don, Billie Jean Mathison (Unger), Lois (Rick Hansen), Jean (Leo Davids), Joan (Mark Spiczka), Diane (Kelly Staples), Duane and Laura Mathison (Schroeder).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes-Princeton (205 S Rum River Dr, Princeton, MN 55371). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
