He was predeceased by : his parents, Levi Showalter and Sarah Showalter (Elvebak); his sister Derva; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Bowers and Juan Alverado.
He is survived by : his son Ken; his son-in-law Bryan; his wife Mavis Satre; his children, Kenneth Showalter (Joy) of St. Louis Park, Carol Petry (Brad) of Albertville, Dennis Showalter (Mirelia) of Princeton, Lucy Ekholm (Bryan) of Annandale and Sandie Lawrence (Dave) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Verlie Bowers, Valoris Showalter, Vivian Alverado, Veronica Schultz (Mark) and Violet Novitsky (Frank "Butch"). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, other family members; and a host of church friends.
