She was predeceased by: her pets, Holly, Bentley, Lucy and Gus. She is survived by: her parents, Jay Sr. May and Linda May; her husband Stephen Leifeld; her sons, Nick Leifeld and Nate Leifeld; her grandson Theodore "Teddy" Leifeld; her brothers, Jay and Josh; and her pet Lily.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gabby's memory to the Sarcoma Foundation of America or the Heartland Animal Rescue.
